Caucasian Five Percenters

"Not only should they learn that our Nation (The NGE) is “Not Pro-Black or Anti-White” b.u.t. as a Caucasian, they first need to learn “I am Not Pro-White or Anti-Black”."

On June 26th, 2010 I wrote an Article entitled 'Knowledge of Self Series' that contained a section elaborating on The NGE not being "Pro-Black or Anti-White". What I didn’t elaborate on is the specific Role that Caucasians play within The NGE who do embrace our Cultural Worldview.

One of things that inspired me to write this Article is because of the Mainstream Appeal our Nation has gained over the years via Community Organizing, HipHop and Online Exposure. 40 plus years ago People generally had no idea who The Five Percenters (The NGE) were outside of the 4 Boroughs in NYC. Nowadays People in the Netherlands, Australia, China, Poland, South Africa, Pakistan, Texas, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Chicago and many other places around the World contact me and various other Gods/Earths I know about learning our Way of Life. Although many of these People are Black (Non-White) there are also many Caucasians who reach out as well. So instead of addressing these segments of the Population individually I wanted to provide this information to answer some of their Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). Another thing that inspired me is the fact that there are some Caucasians who know or are studying our Cultural Curriculum and I wanted to give them more insight into their specific Role as Civilized People. I also wanted to clarify this to other Gods/Earths who may be unclear about the specific Role of Caucasian Five Percenters in our Nation.

120 Lessons, the core of our Cultural Curriculum, consists of People, Places and Things that inform Original (Black) People about our primary Identity, Role and Place in the Universe and on the Map of Human Geography. When a Caucasian is introduced to this Cultural Curriculum they discover from the very beginning that they are not primary (Original) and have a different Identity, a different Role and inhabit different Places upon this Map of Human Geography. Since God and the Earth existed long before Caucasians were born, the fundamental question that arises is, “Since they can’t be God or the Earth, what Status do Caucasians have and Purpose do they serve within the context of our Nation?”

The Caucasus Mountains

Knowledge of Self (KOS)I know many Gods and Earths who’s Ancestors come from different places throughout the Planet Earth. Some come from India, China, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Trinidad, Ghana, Mexico, Ethiopia, 6 Nations (or other Indigenous Lands) and various places throughout North America like Detroit, Los Angeles, Dallas, Windsor, Florida, Indianapolis, Chicago, Alabama, Seattle, Toronto and etc… Because they come from different places and have different experiences, they all bring a unique Perspective, Lineage and Story about our Original People from these places throughout the Earth. If I want more insight into the History of our Original People in the Dominican Republic all I need to do is reach out to a God/Earth who’s direct Ancestry comes from this location; they can tell me any and everything I need to know. If I need to do more research on any of these Countries, States or Cities, I look no further than my Brothers/Sisters who are native to that Geographic Location; they usually know or have direct access to the language, idioms, customs, climate, social norms, demographics and anything else about this place their Family is originally from. In otherwords, this is ‘Knowledge of Self’ (KOS) that puts our Cultural Curriculum in the proper context. When I was out in Seattle doing a Speaking Engagement/Book Signing with Supreme Understanding (of Supreme Design Publishing), he spoke on the importance of having this sense of Knowledge of Self and how we each approach this Cultural Curriculum from the vantage point of the Ethnic Identity, Socioeconomics and Geographic Location we and our Family came from. You can view it here: A.S.I.A. TV

This idea of KOS is not new and has always been the Standard and a National Consensus amongst us since the earliest years of the Nation. When The Father and his Companions began teaching in NYC there were so-called Latin American Brothers/Sisters who naturally identified with this Cultural Worldview and often faced criticism/rejection by those of us who didn’t cee our Spanish Speaking Original People as Black also. Many of these criticisms/rejections were put to rest when these Spanish Speaking Original People began to educate themselves and those Critics about the History of our People in places like Puerto Rico, Cuba and etc… Thus we all began to better understand another unique Perspective, Lineage and Story of our (Original) People that was already identified within our Lessons. As this Culture spread beyond the 4 Boroughs, other Original People from different places began to add on and also include their unique chapter in the History or Koran of our Nation. While Caucasians are also identified within our Lessons, the same Standard and National Consensus is expected of those of them who unnaturally identify with our Cultural Worldview and desire to gain KOS. So the questions they must ask/answer for themselves are, “What unique Perspective, Lineage and Story do I (a Caucasian) have in relationship to Original People?” and “What am I doing as a Caucasian to put the criticisms/rejections to rest that the majority of the People on the Planet Earth and the Earth itself have about my Group of People?”

Azrael, a Caucasian whom The Father taught, established the first prototypical model of how Caucasians were educated and allowed to minimally function within the context of our National Body. Azrael will tell you in a minute that the Name he was given means “Death Angel” (Angel of Death), he symbolically holds the keys to Heaven and Hell and his job is to help show us (Original People and other Caucasians) how to survive the traps of this Devilish World his People were allowed to make. He also understands the Position/Status he was given to primarily educate his own People to the truth about who they are, who we are and what his People need to do in order to help establish/secure a World of Peace where they can co-exist with us as one Human Family. I can respect that and have personally referred Caucasians to him. Unlike Azrael, I’ve noticed that “95%” (14,15/1-40) of the other Caucasians I cee who’re interested in studying or who do study our Cultural Curriculum are usually unclear about what they’re supposed to be doing. Many of them haven’t even realized or been taught that they’re supposed to be sharing their unique Perspective, Lineage and Story as a Caucasian and how this ultimately defines/impacts their Role/Purpose within our Nation. Instead of acknowledging and elaborating on their actual Historical Identity, Role and Place within 120 Lessons like a God/Earth with Native American, Indian, Iranian or etc. Ancestry does, they’ll identify themselves Generically and Non-Politically. In other words, they’ll talk about everything b.u.t. their actual Identity, Role and Place within our Lessons. Instead they'll share abstract scientific theories and Philosophize about who/what things symbolically mean. If they do "put a face on" something they'll usually engage in conversations with us (Original People) trying to tell us (Original People) about ourselves and how we cee things. An example of this is if they're asked about "Who wrote the Holy Koran or Bible? How long ago and why does Islam renew it's History every 25,000 years?" they'll attempt to tell us about ourselves; The Black Man and Woman of Asia, not what this means to them, their Woman, People and how they're consequently on our time. Although it's important for them to know who/what we are, it's most important for them to recognize who they are and have historically been to us and their own People. That is their primary point of view. I’ve rarely heard them directly talking about how they cee “our” Lessons in relationship to themselves, their People, their History and their relationship to my People. I rarely hear these Caucasians explaining their Identity as a Grafted Man, why Musa had such a hard time civilizing them, how it effects them to be genetically weak boned/weak blooded, at what points in history their People’s Identity/Behavior codifies Devilishment and what are some of the psychological, social and cultural challenges that come along with the inability to be God or the Earth. I’m sure thoughts/feelings like these and many others arise in Caucasians because there is no other way to view our Lessons than from their own perspective and experience. So for a Caucasian to not engage/participate in these important discussions by sharing their perspective and experiences it says 1.) They’re not being properly Educated or 2.) They’re not really striving to be Educated and want to come amongst us for other reasons. Regardless what the reason is, whenever someone isn’t actively engaged, participating or involved they’re not receiving the necessary Training to effectively perform their Duty. In our case, we call that Duty "Civilization" and our stance "Righteousness". It also must be understood that historically speaking, a Caucasian’s inability to effectively perform a Duty as noble as Civilization and Righteousness has always translated into the worse fate for any Original People, their own People and the Environment that's in proximity to them. Among various other Lessons we learn, our 1st, 4th, 9th and 10th Degrees in 1/1-14 and 34th & 38th Degrees in the 1-40 provide structural models and plans of recourse to specifically address issues like this.

Because of the unsavory relationship Caucasians (as a Group) have historically had towards Original People, other Caucasians and the Planet Earth itself, their journey towards becoming Civilized and Righteous requires Teaching and Training Units specific to them. In order to be Civilized and Righteous, there are many things, tangible (objects/possessions) and intangible (ideas/allegiances), they must relinquish and denounce that does not coincide with Civilization and Righteousness. Since, according to our 8th Degree in the 1-14, they (Caucasians) kept/keep our People (Original People) apart from their own Social Equality, there are many Institutional, Educational, Psychological, Socioeconomic, Labor, Legal and Military opportunities Caucasians must be committed to sharing with us wheh they coincide with our Culture. If Caucasians think being a Five Percenter means to come around us, learn how we talk and then talk it back to us so they can be accepted they have it wrong! They’re not Honorary Gods and Earths… They are exactly who our Lessons and History says they are and they came to us to “learn to do like the Original Man/Woman” (9/1-14) because they want to clean up their People’s global image. If we (Original People) think that teaching Caucasians means training them to parrot our Lessons and simply explain who we are as God and the Earth we have it wrong too! Some of us may sit back and feel accomplished to be able to say, “Here’s a Caucasian who acknowledges that the Black Man is God and the Black Woman is the Earth!” yet it says nothing about who they are, what their thoughts/feelings are in regard to their own Identity/History and what type of behavior this actually translates into. Our Lessons (17,18/1-36) clearly teach us that in the early 1930’s there were approximately 3 Million Caucasians who also acknowledged who we were yet their thoughts/feelings about who they were in relationship to us (Original People) still translated into uncivilized/unrighteous behavior; Segregation (8/1-14) was going on, Jim Crow Etiquette was expected, the Klu Klux Klan (KKK) had over 2.5 Million card carrying Members and Anti-Lynching Legislation was debated/unenforced. We also must consider the fact that many Agent Provocateurs (4/1-14) were able to successfully infiltrate, undermine and sabotage the Objectives/Goals of our Organizations and colonize our Lands because we simply allowed them to come amongst us without a thorough investigation and requiring them to announce themselves through sharing their Perspective, Lineage and Story. This is not to say nor assume that this is every Caucasian’s or even an Original Person’s intention. This is to say that anytime we've taken this ass-umptive posture, especially with those who are clearly unalike, it’s always been a recipe for disaster.

In closing, “We are Not Pro-Black or Anti-White” is not a statement that means we’re a bunch of Humanists saying “Can we all just get along?” This declaration does not mean we’re trying to Assimilate into the Dominant Society/Culture, we don’t want to offend White People and we’re striving to distance ourselves from so-called ‘Black Militants’. This statement means that our allegiance is to the Truth, wherever it may exist, and we’re required to do what’s most Civilized and Righteous in accordance to the Truth “regardless to whom or what” (11/1-14). This is my position and posture as an Original Man and this stance requires me to interface with a Western (Caucasian) Society that historically opposed and still opposes this view. A Caucasian is someone who represents this Western Society; Genotypically and Phenotypically. Therefore, their allegiance to the Truth, wherever it may exist, and what they’re required to do that’s most Civilized and Righteous takes on a different meaning. Not only should they learn that our Nation is “Not Pro-Black or Anti-White” b.u.t. as a Caucasian, they first need to learn “I am Not Pro-White or Anti-Black”. Just because a Caucasian can recite or even write RZA like Lyrics like his verse on the Gravediggaz “The Night The Earth Cried” it doesn’t mean they’re not Pro-White; they could be still be gettin’ money working for their Family Business that has historically discriminated against Original People. Just because a Caucasian Man has a Black Girlfriend or bi-racial child doesn’t mean he’s not Anti-Black; he could be f*cking her and still saying f*ck her Family and Original People as a whole. The beauty in our Cultural Worldview is that our Lessons clearly exposes someone’s position and posture be it ‘Pro’ or ‘Anti’ anything that doesn’t coincide with the Truth. When it comes to Caucasians, if they’re not learning to analyze and articulate their historical Identity, Role and Place as a Caucasian in this World, then what Purpose can they possibly serve to us (Original People)? If some of you have/are teaching them our Lessons, Mathematics, Alphabets and etc. yet they aren’t consistently demonstrating in their daily people activities (amongst their own People) or actively taking stances to Show & Prove that they are not Pro-White or Anti-Black then they’re not performing the Duty of a Civilized/Righteous Person; they’re upholding the uncivilized/unrighteous Status Quo of their Ancestors. Are they here to just sit around the Fathers and Mothers of Civilization and agree with us about who we say we are? Are we nothing more than a Cultural Confession Box so Caucasians can come around and confess their and their Ancestors sins against God and the Earth? Like Azrael, do they have a specific job amongst their own People and what does their job specifically entail? I remember I went to a Rally in Bethlehem (Buffalo, NY) one time and this Caucasian female who called herself an ‘Earth’ came out and wanted to learn more about our Culture. Apparently some Original Man was teaching her who got some Lessons from a God who hadn’t ceen him in years. When I asked her about her Ancestry she said she was ‘Irish’ and I began asking her some questions about her People’s History and their History in relationship to Original People. She couldn’t tell me anything about this or her status as a Caucasian in Western Society yet she knew some of the Supreme Mathematics, things about our Nation and how to use some of our phrases… I shared alittle History about Ireland, the Irish and Caucasians as a Group and then informed her to do more research on her People so she can begin to better understand how she’s been taught to cee the World and consequently the Fathers and Mothers of Civilization. That was the last time I ceen/heard anything from her. She’s probably still out there along with many other Caucasians and Original People who continue to be uneducated and miseducated about ‘What We Teach’ and ‘What We Will Achieve’ as a Nation of Gods and Earths. The only way to change this reality is for us to continue our Tradition of requiring People to Show & Prove who and what they are, not just in word b.u.t. in deed through what they “continue daily” to do. Studiousness; To Study

Study to shew thyself approved” -2nd Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 15

What happened to studiousness? More often than not, I come across People in person and read some of the things they’re Posting and/or Commenting about Online and that’s the first thought that goes through my Mind, “What happened to studiousness?” When I was getting KOS (Knowledge of Self) during the pre-Google days, I’d spend hours in the library doing research on the Lessons I was learning. I was never handed a bunch of paper, told to memorize this information and then sent on my merry little way. Studiousness was the order of the day. On many occasions I’d build with my Enlightener until the Sun was coming up the next day and sometimes he’d wake me up in the middle of the night to build or quote a Lesson. I couldn’t stand it at the time, b.u.t. I learned to appreciate that later on in life -especially in an Era like today. So when I hear Ghost’s verse on ‘Rainy Dayz’ where he says, “Stood up late nights/build with my A-Alikes” I lived that out, taught and teach this way. Many Gods/Earths whom I know, that are usually the most studious, can relate to staying up late nights as well. That type of investment is a sacred bond and that level of commitment to another person’s life deserves the upmost honor & respect. This Brotherly/Sisterly Love is the cornerstone our Nation was built upon and keystone of our God Centred Cultural Worldview. As reflected in the sequence of our 10th, 11th and 12th Jewels; when we’re unable to give/receive this type of Love in a Relationship, we’ll never attain real Peace and true Happiness in our lives…

I was recently involved in a discussion Online about the importance of considering ‘Policy’ & ‘Procedure’ when effectively addressing National concerns and someone dismissed my point by saying, “Our Nation isn’t run like a Government.” The first thought that came to my Mind is that they're overlooking the 18th Letter in the Supreme AlphabetRule or Ruler’; words that mean ‘to govern’ and the role of ‘a governor’. This is the prefix to the word ‘Government’. It’s impossible to ‘Rule’ or even be a ‘Ruler’ over our own habits, desires, urges and challenges if we don’t have the ability to ‘govern’ these habits, desires, urges and challenges. Since this was overlooked then I’m also sure they didn’t make this correlation: Without a system of Government it’s impossible to effectively perform/reinforce the “Duty of a Civilized Person” (18/1-40) because there’s no formal structure governing Civil ‘Policy’ & ‘Procedure’. In other words, any Group of People without a Civil Service (Government) become Anarchistic (lawless/savage).

It was this incident and various others that further convinced me that many of my People, for whatever reason, aren’t being studious enough. And not only are we not being studious b.u.t. many of us don’t realize that this is the order of the day. Not because "I" (Saladin) say it's the order of the day b.u.t. because what we call ourselves (God/Earth, King/Queen, Civilized, Righteous, Just & True, All Wise, Right & Exact and etc.) demands this level of consideration. Another thing to consider is that Primitive Peoples had to learn (evolve) a system of organized Government and Civil Codes in order to become a Nation -as highlighted in the 2, 4, 5, 9/1-14. Their level of adherence to a system of Civil Codes defines/marks their level of Civilization. According to the 2 & 4/1-14 specifically, without this Knowledge an environment becomes a geographic landscape for “savages living a beast way of life” because there are no identifiable Rules (governing mechanisms). Did not Musa come to teach them “how to ‘live respectful lives’ and how to ‘build homes’ for themselves”? Well these are ‘Rules’ in the form of Social Norms/Mores and a ‘Ruler’ in regards to a Tool used to properly measure/build a shelter. So to even state that The NGE is not run like a Government reveals that many of us are still entertaining very Primitive ideas about Nation Building. The only problem with this lack of maturity/growth is when these People are content with this lot in life and aren’t striving to evolve.

Because Information appears to be so readily accessible Online today, many of the Gods/Earths who have gotten and are getting KOS in the Google Era aren’t doing the work by going to their local libraries, investing in resources or developing Relationships anymore. Many of these People are becoming more anti-social, alienated and disassociated from other human beings; which is the complete antithesis to learning our way of life (Culture) and improving the conditions of our Families/Communities. The sacredness of establishing a lifelong Relationship of Brother/Sisterhood has now turned into People thinking it’s all about you just handing them some information, downloading documents Online or talking on the phone. Learning to communicate a system of Principles and Values we live and die by has now turned into People wanting to learn how to talk/sound like us. From my short experience of being in this Nation amongst my contemporaries, I can boldly say that many of our Cultural Traditions/Customs are becoming loss. Their lack of transmittance to our present and future Generations also threatens what we’ve Achieved and are striving to Achieve as a Nation. Many of us today don’t even realize that we actually have a Collective Purpose or Goals we’re striving to Achieve. Many People think that ‘Getting Knowledge of Self’ means ‘Getting Knowledge for myself personally’ -even though someone made sacrifices and invested valuable time to share it with them…

So who’s fault is this? Is it the Enlightener’s fault for not being studious/committed enough to demand a level of studiousness/commitment in the People they’re so-called teaching? Possibly. Is it the so-called Student’s fault for not having the proper attitude about Relationships and demonstrating the aptitude to actually learn? Yeah that’s possible too. Is it our Elders fault for not stepping up to the plate and staying relevant by reinforcing our Traditions/Customs instead of being retired Builders? No doubt. Is it Gods/Earths fault collectively for not moving towards a more organized structure (governing body)? Absolutely. There is enough blame to go around for everybody b.u.t. ultimately WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE. We are responsible for what we claim to be (Gods/Earths) and we’re responsible to those who desire to represent these Standards and Cultural Worldview. If not, then Who? If us, then When?

In closing I want to encourage those of us who consider ourselves Gods/Earths, those who’re in the process of learning our Culture and those who want to learn our Culture to understand that studiousness is the order of the day. Many of our Cultural Perspectives are not being transmitted simply because many People are not studying. I’m not talking about knowing The Father’s born day, who taught who in Medina or why our Universal Flag has 22 points. Although History is important, it should not be used like it’s a game of Jeopardy. It’s likewise important to study the Lessons we were all taught to memorize/recite by heart. These Lessons comprise 80% of our Cultural Worldview; the mass from which we derive our Perspectives about life from. Our Supreme Mathematics and Supreme Alphabet are Numerical and Alphabetical Systems used to help us Compute, give Context to and Communicate these Perspectives. We can’t claim “Knowledge is our Foundation” and not study -especially basic words (concepts) in our Supreme Alphabet like ‘Rule or Ruler’ and then expect to effectively perform/reinforce Civil Duties (18/1-40) that support our Nation. We can’t claim Titles like King/Queen and not research the appropriate Principles (Policies), Approaches (Procedures) and Attitudes (Etiquette) that support our ability to uphold that Title. To be ‘studious’ means we must remain ‘students’, always willing to learn (evolve) in order to serve an even greater purpose to our Families, Community, People and the World.

Peace,
Saladin

Actual Facts/Solar Facts
by Allah Universal Lord Life Justice Shabazz

Knowledge of Self begins with a quest and a desire to be whatever your findings conclude as being true. If not, you have not found the real you-- you have found an opinion: The opinion is that you are right and this knowledge is not. One of the principles concerning Knowledge of Self (at least from the NGE perspective) is that “Knowledge is the Foundation”. This means the beginning of any building starts with the foundation, which we have agreed is knowledge. This means actions should be based upon the known. Science comes from the word "scire" (Latin) which means to know-- as a scientist is one who is devoted to knowing, following a procedure known as the Scientific Method. You should be sure about things before you do it and the only true way to be sure is to put knowledge first. When building a home, often people start with architectural plans. These plans are based on Knowledge. In life, we look for confirmations concerning what we BELIEVE to be true but ultimately you are the judge. In order to be right and exact, you must have knowledge and facts as the foundation. We have learned through schooling that one source (reference) does not make a good term paper. Therefore, if one is to say something is knowledge, it should be confirmed from various sources that it is true. In your Alphabet, that which is true is on the square which is known as the "right" angle (20th Letter is T; Truth or Square). Directional compasses are constructed from the four corners of the square: North, South, East and West-- to cover all directions. So it is with knowledge of Self, you have to cover all directions and examine their basis or foundation to know where you are coming from-- whether or not your reasoning is sound and based on a strong foundation, which is knowledge or truth. This starts with the first degree in your Student Enrollment; “Who is the Original Man?” This is the first statement in the quest to know yourself, yet you can always tell who are persons of that said ability versus those who are still searching for something that does not exist, on the basis of how they see this degree. It is this degree and the awareness of triple stage darkness that forms the basis of your origin in this world. The first degree in the one to ten along with the knowledge of triple stage darkness are two things which define whether or not you are one of us or just talking the talk. Yet with some, there is a presence that these persons have taken an "outsider" or spectator's point of view when they attempt to build on aspects concerning "our origin in this world." (14/1-40) It is almost as if they are describing creation with them as the lecturer and not them as the Subject and Author of the story-- not something they have trust or belief in. There is a difference between theory and personal experience. Although both may write books, only the one with experience can deliver words that you can really understand and feel down in your soul! When you read something and the idea is not properly understood, the burden of proof lies not with the reader but upon the Author-- who supposedly knows but could not make understanding understood. The subtle truth is: If he or she knows and cannot make understanding understood it is questionable whether they are truly familiar enough with their subject to say they know it at all themselves. To know something you must have intimate details concerning (as in intercourse). To know the truth you must live it and live as it, that's how you get the intimate details to tell the story!

If you tell the story or chronicle of Creation and you are not visualizing your true self AS the Creator then you are a spectator. The best movies are the ones where the Hero (or Heroine) compel you to think and feel the ways they portry as actors. When you say Asiatic Blackman and you think of it as "those people" or "my ancestors," you are a spectator with the wrong perspective or point of view. When it says Maker, the Owner, the Cream of the Planet Earth... and you don't see this as a testimony towards who you are supposed to be now, you are on the outside looking in-- not the inside looking out. This is Knowledge of Self and this story is about you. This is the proper perspective and if you cannot see yourself as the Father of Civilization and God of the universe you have the wrong perspective and therefore do not have the ability. As John the Baptist said, "I am NOT the LIGHT but I came to bear witness to the light." One is a testimony based upon what one believes through observation to be true. The other is a testimony through the eyes of one who is. For the true and living God, one twenty is intimate details about the role and the characters assumed to show forth and prove God's powers in human form. The intimate details are obtained from putting that knowledge to the test and seeing what the results manifest-- of course this is with an honest and impartial observation. What this means in street vernacular is, "Just because it's you who is causing all this to happen, don't B.S. yourself, give yourself a pass or give yourself the benefit of the doubt." Knowledge of Self is about research and development: Ups and downs-- strengths and weaknesses. Cultivation based upon acknowledgment and obligation. Either you see yourself AS or you come to interpret. (28/1-36)

One of the things which might have you as a spectator is an opinion. Is that difference based upon the presence of another truth? Quite the contrary. Much of this is based upon belief originating from the way one is raised. Since we are in the West, it only stands to reason that most of the concepts are Western. Since most of us have only lived in America, it is hard for us to see or think outside of Western concepts. An opinion is not knowledge or a hypothesis [educated guess] (in most cases). An opinion is (in most cases) a belief that one has or a view one might have based upon your assessment of an experiences one had and is having. This assessment may or may not be true, but it is how one feels. Feelings have a strong influence over our physical composition. It is our nerve endings that tell us many things. It is responsible for touch. Feelings are the major resource for how we judge physical sensations and stimuli. However, for wise and intelligent People, there must be other sources of confirmation-- other ways of making sure that things are what we believe them to be.

In the course of my lifetime within this physical form, I have witness many who masquerade strong feelings for intuition or habits as the way things are. This is ludicrous behavior. Those feelings are the impressions the event left upon you. That, however, does not make those impressions the truth. Nonetheless, those that do this feel that their feelings are just as real and as valid as knowledge. This takes us into another chamber one experienced as a child, a chamber where fear, envy, jealousy, lust and hate rule in place of better judgment. A place where anxiety and fear of something maybe more overpowering than what is actually occurring. As fantastic as it may seem, many People live their lives according to these feelings and impulses. In a word, the act is called impressionable. People who can be stirred in this way are called excitable and fanciful People. These are people led by their feelings instead of true knowledge. This is a very dangerous way to live. Knowing what the truth is-is half of the battle in overcoming adversity. The other half is letting go of bad habits.

"We wanted to go back to our own country but we could not swim 9,000 miles." (32/1-36) Our subjection to our captors and the laws of slavery allowed our children to grow up without their parents and doing what they had to do in order to survive. As said earlier, most of us knew nothing about any worlds outside of Western concepts (culture) until we saw Knowledge of Self. Without the guidance of our parents, the knowledge of our past rapidly deteriorated. We pieced together what we could in those days in order to be civilized and survive in the Western world. Until Knowledge of Self, the Blackman in America concepts were derived from Western ideas. The schooling: Western. Ideology: Western. Beliefs: Western. Even some of our People became Masons during the period before Knowledge of Self entered this country in the attempt to gain higher knowledge (“but there is no reason to do that today” -Elijah Muhammad in Theology of Time). But what is taught to the Black masses in the West (Western ideology) conflicts with the truth within our Lessons. It gives many of our People opinions that will not allow them to "rise above 6 miles from the earth's surface" to become the "Sun" or "Knowledge" that they are, nor see the fallacy in Western Empirical thinking.

"Me and my people who have been lost from home for 379 years (457 years from the date of this recitation) have tried this so called mystery God for bread, clothing and a home and received nothing but hard times, hunger, nakedness, in and out of doors, also beaten and killed by the ones who advocated that kind of God. And no relief came, until the son of man came to our aid, in the name of your prophet W. D. Fard.” (11/1-40) This is a statement that all Blacks can relate to. This is the American cultural experience for a large number of Blacks in America. This is the “One Nation under the God” mentioned above that passed laws and forged these sentiments. What this says in essence is, we tried to go along with what the culture advocated and this is what we got; “nothing but hard times, hunger, nakedness, in and out of doors, also beaten and killed by the ones who advocated that..” This Lesson says how we were during the date of these acts and we tried to do what so-called White Christians advocated as a Society and look what happened. Anyone who knows anything about impressionable persons would have to say that the overall aversion that Black people have concerning the study of slavery can be traced back to the impression that slavery made upon us. What this statement says in this Lesson is THEIR WAYS ARE NOT OUR OWN-- WE TRIED THEIR WAY AND GOT ABUSED. This is the good old God, Religion and Country aspect of life taught by the West. The European had successfully stole the land from the Native American, imported us like beast of burden to do their menial labor, while carrying a religious, philosophical and cultural perspective that allowed plenty of them not to have a problem with what their Society was doing. Post-slavery we had other concerns. While enslaved it was pretty clear who's World it was and what you had to do to stay alive. After slavery we had to concern ourselves with what would keep us employed-- and in most cases alive! Segregation was "alive and kicking" up until the sixties in the North and South; separate toilets, restrooms and hotels for Blacks and Whites! Those were tough times for Black people, especially during the time these degrees were transcribed (1934). Many of our People were doing the "Rodney King" (doing what it took not to upset the powers that be), looking for charity and humanity (civilization) out of so-called White Christian people. Most of us even tried to learn their religion and the above treatment is what we received.

This is the same fear that has manipulated many of us not believe anything we didn't learn in this Country or beyond Western concepts-- "because the devil taught them to eat the wrong foods.” (10/1-36) This allows a Man to study degrees about God and still behave like a Devil. "Who made the Holy Koran or Bible?" (1/1-40) If you agree with the answer and say that the Blackman is synonymous with knowledge, then the knowledge contained within these books is knowledge that is synonymous with how we live or strive to refine into living. After all, you wrote it. The "light" that John the Baptist spoke of is Jesus, but Jesus' teaching was not Christianity. Christianity is a story and practice based upon those (disciples) who came to bear witness to the light and subsequently organized those teachings. Those teachings were in Hebrew, which means in order to have them in English, they had to be interpreted. The path of the interpretation went from Greek and Latin, then English. Constantine the Great made Christianity the state (Roman) religion. King Henry VIII used it in an attempt to have his marriage annulled. King James used it for political reasons.

Black people who lived in 1934 (as well as the times of Slavery and Reconstruction)-- after facing such adversity-- had no other choice but to depend on their own! From 1900-1934 was a time of many great discoveries in America for Black people. Engineers, Entrepreneurs (Businessmen), Sports Teams like the Negro League all came around during the first half of the century. The Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) was developed within this slot of time-- its' founder, Marcus Garvey was in communication with Booker T. Washington. Marcus had great admiration for Booker T. As a matter of fact, Booker T. knew George Washington Carver. As a matter of fact, plenty of our people cooperated with each other during the Segregation time period; we only had each other. We really didn't have much of a choice: You couldn't go to a white cleaners or mechanic during those times-- most of your services were only performed by people who look just like you.

"I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God and testimony of Jesus Christ.” (27/1-40) The Romans didn't treat Jesus that great either. THIS PART OF THE TWENTY-SEVENTH DEGREE SIGNIFIES THAT PEOPLE OFTEN BAND TOGETHER DURING HARD TIMES. And segregation was just that. Not only did our people face a "Separatist Society" but we often faced their jealousy when our businesses, discoveries and inventions were doing well. Did you know that our people had a Black Wall Street? Did you know it was highly successful? Did you know that an angry mob of Whites burned Tulsa down to the ground? These were the type of odds we faced during the time period of 1934, yet our comradery and success greatly out-shined what we do today. The way we got out of the Segregated, "come in through the servants entrance in the back" was the "we're fired up-- we ain't gonna take it no more" attitude of the Civil Rights Struggle. Of course laws reflect the level of the people's mentality, so going up against the system in a racist World meant to get Freedom, Justice, and Equality. This meant you will be going against the status quo and therefore breaking the laws of a Segregated Society. And of course, they would try by all means necessary to reestablish equilibrium to their unjust Society by means of military force, invasion of homes and meeting places, letting attack dogs loose on the protesting populations and etc... Our ancestors risked a lot to change this racist segregated Society into a fairer World.

In this regard, Martin Luther King Jr.’s angle was very shrewd indeed. By following some of the non-violent protest techniques implemented by Ghandi (of India), King engaged the violence of the segregated, racist regimes on an international media platform clearly showing no signs of violence while those elements in American Society unleashed theirs. Like apartheid, in the world's eye, their acts were an embarrassment to the Western community. They were sic’ing dogs on innocent women and children, fire-bombing churches and etc. No way could they justify their actions in the World's eyes. Something had to be done to change the appearance of such things: Tokenism, olive-branches, affirmative actions, law revisions and etc. However, this was done at a great amount of personal sacrifice by those who practiced non-violence. Though I commend those and appreciate their sacrifices, as well as recognized their efforts-- along with the UNIA, OIC, The Black Panthers, NAACP, SNCC, The Nation of Islam, Moorish Americans, Organization of African American Unity, Malcolm's efforts towards a stronger Pan-African Movement and etc.-- a non-violent practice would never work for me. Not that I am violent, I just know how hard that is to stand back while being treated unfairly. I am an Activist and subscribe to progressive philosophy, therefore I am convinced that the progressive elements within the five percent work best for what I know and understand.

Personally, I think we lost something when we tried to integrate and fit into the Caucasian man's existing program. Many of us would just like to forget about it. Many White people would like for us to move on and pretend like it didn't happen. This would mean that if this were true, they would not have to work at building a free Black Nation, they could live under the one that the Whiteman created. But then again, what position would that place White people in since it is their World? Acts like this would allow Western Society to escape the atrocities it perpetrated on us as a people. As said earlier, "This is a very dangerous way to live." It's like a person having been violently robbed in the subway, then avoiding ever going near a subway again: Many of our self esteem issues as a people can be related to how the ruling class in this Society treated us as a result of slavery. This is the reason why we have to replace our opinions with knowledge and actual facts, to dare to be willing to struggle to learn how to rise above-- outside of the Caucasoid dimensions. That's a Solar Fact!

What I see in these days and times is consciousness manifested as boys and girls, as well as men and women, just don't get it family. They are under some foolish notion that they are individually Allah and Earth-- how ludicrous. “Holy is something that has not been mixed, tampered or diluted with in any form” (9/1-14) and this is precisely what Allah is: One consciousness and one mind with one means of making the will of that consciousness manifest. As we exist within these various forms, with each generation-- our unity is becoming increasingly harder and harder to see. This is mainly due to an emphasis by immature thought process by ego-centered persons who only look to achieve things for their limited circumference; which does not focus on family units or those advocated for the same common cause but what they can get from others. This means while they "won't give you a dime", they depend on the charity of others to further their cause and once they get it. They are not interested in teaching civilization to others so that all may prosper. May I remind you that “if the civilized does not perform his duty which is teaching civilization to others-- he (or she) will be punished with a severe punishment.” (19/1-40) You have heard me say numerous times that "God is a group reality seen through individual eyes". How can you expect to get which you yourself are not willing to give? All which raises consciousness depends on a mind which focuses on the whole: A King and or Queen has subjects and despite the obvious perks, he or she has to consider at all times what is best for the entire kingdom. A person predisposed to these considerations will get how all these lessons have their relationship to him or her, while the ungodly will miss the point every time. Take the King's degree (knowledge knowledge) within your knowledge to culture cipher: It mentions 379 years ago. How many of you thought about the date the degree was written? How many of you young souls considered the social conditions (social equality) those of our people were enduring during the date of the degrees writing? You don't need the Devil to "keep our own people apart from their social equality" (8/1-14) because you are performing the task yourself by thinking more like them (the Devil) by adapting to his customs and ways and being so ego-centered. Didn't the Romans live off the decree: "Divide and conquer?" This is mainly due to an emphasis of immature thought processess (plural process) by ego centered persons, who only look to achieve things for their own limited mental circumference: People who do not focus on family units or those advocated for the same common cause-- just what they can get from others. “To make Devil one must begin grafting from the original” (31/1-40) and when you only focus upon your being, this is precisely what you are doing. You have to think Globally and Act Locally. Somebody has to put you on in order for you to be with it. As a baby you are vulnerable and have to depend on the charity of others... My point is our people are us and the social conditions are very important in figuring out the level of social equality and civilization at any given point in time. Did you realize chronologically that this chronicle was written in the Great Depression? What conditions were happening during the Depression? How were race relations between Blacks and Whites at that point and time? How does that compare to the conditions of 1555 (some 379 years ago)? Besides the obvious, this degree is building on that and saying the God the ruling class of America serves cannot be a force for good when it comes down to Black people, yet “he continues daily to teach that all that we see and hear comes from that mystery God." (13/1-40) And while you say that you don't subscribe to that philosophy, lacking the ability to work collectively is somewhat like waiting on a mystery God to bring you food -because you don't do for yourself and would sell us out to profit separately. That is why these actual facts elude you because you don't think of the collective (family, people, etc.) as your true Self and therefore do not focus on doing for Self-- so you miss the subtleties and the whole picture eludes your understanding. If you could think of how our people were fairing in both time periods and do just a little research, what a benefit this might be. But you are sleeping on your Self and not truly benefiting from what the group has to offer which advocated for the same common cause.

The Harlem Renaissance

A Community of Self

First and foremost I want to Thank United Black America for Rating this Site one of 100 Best Websites going into 2012!! It’s a huge honor and I appreciate Asad (The Webmaster of UBA) for supporting the work that I do. Thanks again!

Efficacy is our ability to succeed in a particular situation or produce certain results. In considering Self Efficacy, the basic question one must ask is, “What is the purpose for our personal accomplishments/achievements and our intention to produce certain results?” In other words, the question of ‘Purpose/Function’ is of the upmost importance when discussing efficacy. Why? Because what someone is actually doing or the purpose they’re fulfilling IS their efficacy (their capacity to produce) -or lack thereof. Therefore, we can’t truly talk/intellectualize about Self Efficacy, we have to be about it, and being about it means our lifestyle demonstrates our efficacy via actual contributions we’ve made and consistently make to Civilization. If you’re interested in learning about Fitness then consult with an actual Fitness Instructor or a person who actually includes Physical Fitness as an integral part of their lifestyle. If you do consult with someone who’s obviously not about Fitness, you’ll probably get a whole bunch of unrelated opinions and criticisms about Physical Fitness & character assassination of those People who are physically fit. They'll also give you a slew of excuses why fitness is subjective and relatively unimportant as a method to justify and divert attention away from their own apathy, lack of discipline, inactivity and unhealthy behaviors. Sometimes People like this even go as far as to pride themselves on how sick/unhealthy they are by proclaiming how much they love doing what they do -regardless how it's negatively effecting them, their Companions, their Families, their Community or Society as a whole.

So any true exploration of efficacy is an examination of Relationships; how a person relates to Self, others and the Environment. This is one very important key that is highlighted/implied in the Story of Yacub. His Family Relationships were dysfunctional: there was no mention of his Parents/Guardians or potential siblings and he was born 20 miles outside of Civilization or where Knowledge (1) and Wisdom (2) or ‘Love’ started. His Social Relationships were unstable: there was no mention of any friends/siblings/associates and he played by himself. His Academic Relationships were questionable: he was considered a high achiever and praised Academia yet there was no mention or credence shown to any Educators/Mentors/Benefactors. His Societal/Community Relationships were isolated: he was born outside of Civilization and he lived on an island called Pelon (Patmos) for over 100 years away from Civilization inoculated against any outside influences. These conditions/conditionings imply why this type of person would have a 'Big-Head' (Egotism, Grandiosity, Narcissism and an Inferiority Complex). This is the same Psychological Profile of someone who is suffering from forms of Mental Illnesses such as Anti-Social Behavior, Napoleon Complex, Manic-Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Behavior, Reactive Attachment Disorder and etc.. These are the same Illnesses that sets the stage for not only manufacturing Devils b.u.t. also Crimes against Humanity (Serial Murders, Identity Theft, Rape, Sexual Deviancy, Larceny and etc.) and the Environment (Pollution, Animal Cruelty, Littering, Ignoring their Carbon Footprint and etc.). Is there any wonder why Yacub means ‘to supplant or undermine’ or why People like this promote subversive, obstructive, disruptive and destructive ideologies? If you take a moment and simply listen to a person's ideals, their complaints and how they’re participating in this World, you may actually hear them speaking from the vantage point of Pelon (an island)… So although Yacub being successful in allhisundertakings does constitute a level of efficacy, the question of ‘Purpose/Function’ is of the upmost importance; are the results he produced conducive to sustaining and progressing our Relationship with Self, others and the environment? (29/1-40) Some may argue “Yes” by saying, “The 38/1-40 teaches us that Yacub’s ‘Purpose/Function’ ultimately allows us to “show forth and prove our power that we are all wise and righteouswithout falling victim” and I have to agree with that. The People arguing this point must also agree with me that in order to make that claim we must be demonstrating this power, wisdom and righteousness to not fall victim… If we’re not striving to demonstrate this, then we’re only lip professin’ followers of Yacub. What I'm sharing represents some of those "other Rules and Regulations" of Yacub's that are not mentioned in that Lesson. (28/1-40)

I’m always contacted by People from all over the World who’re interested, curious about and intrigued by Supreme Mathematics, Supreme Alphabets, 120 Lessons or my Culture as a whole. When asked what their reasoning is for learning I’ve heard everything from, “Knowledge is like money and I’m just trying to get that money”, “I want to enhance my Music Career”, “I want to get more confidence”, “Because I think you’re the most qualified”, “My boyfriend won’t teach me”, “I don't know”, “I want to teach others” and etc.. Whatever a person’s reasoning is, there is one thing that is fundamental to them being educated; sharing. All of us who claim to have Knowledge of Self only have it because someone shared it; directly/indirectly. Even if we claim we did it on our own (19: Self or Savior), ANYTHING we have is a part of someone else’s contributions. Whatever interpretation we claim to have, regardless how unique or personal we declare it to be, it is still ‘Intertexual’. When it comes to basic sharing, even the toiletries we have/use were made possible via the efforts of others and without their contributions we would have to figure out other ways to maintain our cleanliness/health. As Individuals (truly meaning ‘not divided’), we are only as “healthy, strong and good” as the Group (People, Family, Community and Society) we contribute to and receive resources from (28/1-40). If Life was essentially about “comingby myself (2/1-36), human beings would be asexual… And if you took a cursory glance at the psychological/socioeconomic “hard times, hunger, nakedness and out of doors” People experience, you’ll often cee a direct link to a living single mentality (11/1-40). I mention this to emphasize that in order to gain anything, we must have a healthy respect for the sacredness/sacrifices that comes along with receiving what others have shared. Some People receive what they consider Knowledge of Self and don’t hold it sacred nor do they make sacrifices to share it like the ones whom they received it from. Some People want you to share with them yet don’t have any intention of sharing their goals, experiences and basic lives with you. Sometimes People have the misconception that Knowledge of Self is some “thing” you hand them and once they get “it” from you they go on their way and do whatever they want with “it”. The reality is, we are establishing lifelong relationships based upon growth & development Principles and Values -with the determined idea of establishing these lifelong relationships with others. From our Cultural Perspective, we are helping eachother become viable/productive Members of our Society; not Anti-Socialists, Hedonists, Misers or Rugged Individuals. Our Society, The NGE, is based upon a Culture that establishes a system of Community Life where it’s persons form a collective, continual and regulating body to mutually benefit, progress and protect it’s interests. This sets the stage to Associate; based upon the common Cultural status, ideals, language, experiences and interests we share. If this wasn’t the underlining significance of our Culture, there would be no integrity and nothing would get transmitted (shared), established or protected from one person to the next… Again, efficacy especially Self Efficacy is not simply about someone’s personal capacity to produce certain results, it’s about the sustainability/progressiveness of the Relationships we produce from those results.

In conclusion, Keep in Mind that we are all a part of a Cycle of Life and all things, whether animate or inanimate, are Interdependent. As great as Michael Jordan was as a 'Single' Player, there is no Michael Jordan without a Team, Mentors, Food, Oxygen, Textile Companies or a Mother/Father who gave birth to him. It’s not about how smart we think we are, it’s about what we’re actually doing to use our smarts to help improve the intelligence of others. It’s not about how good we think we are in something, it’s about how we’re using our that ability to help others become better in what they do.

Peace,
Saladin

Frankenstein Mob

None Dare Call It Conspiracy?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

The above Paragraph is the First Amendment of the US Constitution’s Bill of Rights in regards to Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion and Petition. Under this Amendment, it guarantees Freedom of Religion yet also requires the separation between the Church and State. This has far reaching implications and is very important for People to understand, especially those who don’t claim a “Religion” but a Cultural Worldview and Nationality. As for The Nation of Gods and Earths (AKA: Five Percenters), we are not a Religion or a Religious Group. We are not Muslims and we advocate a God-Centered “Cultural” Worldview. Even though the Federal District Court in New York ruled that Intelligent Tareef Allah had been denied his First Amendment Right of religious freedom, and is entitled to practice our Culture in Prison, this Court Decision represents an exception. In most Correctional Facilities across the United States The NGE is labeled ‘A Gang’ and ‘STG’ (Security Threat Group). This is the Ruling Perspective of the Dominant Class and what they consider to be their Status Quo. While this Perspective is obviously unfair/unreasonable -in light of the many Gods/Earths who are positive/progressive Members of their Families, Communities and Society as a whole-, some of these claims are not without merit. Like in many Societies, there does exist segments (pockets) of People who claim to be Citizens of The NGE (Gods/Earths) who knowingly/unknowingly reinforce these stigmas -based upon their own immature, amoral, uncivilized and irresponsible behavior.

In the early developmental years of The NGE, the Youth were the 99% who responded to this Cultural Worldview. These Youth were Middle Schoolers, High Schoolers and Dropouts. They weren’t Fathers/Mothers, College Graduates, Home Owners and Business Owners. They were learning, often for the very first time, the responsibilities of Manhood/Womanhood. While going through this urban Rights of Passage, they were simultaneously being introduced to the apex of Manhood/Womanhood; Kings/Queens, Gods/Earths. While some of these Youth excelled in this educational process, many of them didn’t meet some of these challenges that came along with being immature/inexperienced (young) and dealing with the obvious Socioeconomic turbulence of the 1960’s. Magnify this with the claim of 'Culture Freedom', and this alienated many of these Youth or put them in direct opposition to various Religious, Nationalistic and Secular Groups/Organizations who viewed this stance as a direct threat to their Doctrine, Cultural Identity and Social Status. The Father (AKA: Clarence 13X) was viewed not only as a Pied Piper of sorts, b.u.t. also a potential Enemy of the State and threat to the US Government. Why? Because of his clearly Non-Religious Cultural Stance in the midst of a Christian Country that advocates a Eurocentric Cultural Status Quo. So legally speaking, The Father, his Companions and the Youth they Mentored had no protection under the First Amendment of the US Constitution’s Bill of Rights in regards to Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion and Petition. When you examine the stances that many other People took who veered away from a “Religious” Perspective into a Cultural/Nationalistic Arena, you’ll notice something very consistent... Garvey was deported (exiled) for so-called Mail Fraud, Noble Drew Ali was mysteriously murdered, when Martin Luther King Jr. started talking about the African Diaspora he got shot in Memphis, El Hajj Malik Shabazz (Malcom X.) was assassinated not long after he started the Organization of African Unity and began talking about taking the issue of Black People’s Human Rights to The UN, COINTELPRO obliterated the Black Panther Party, the Philadelphia Police Dept. dropped a Bomb on the MOVE Organization destroying 65 Homes killing 11 Adults/Children, a healthy Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad (Spokesman of the New Black Panther Party) died from mysterious "natural causes" and the Leader of the Nuwaubian Nation is sitting in a Supermax Prison in Florence Colorado as you read this Article. In regards to The NGE; within two short years of being arrested at a Rally on false charges and his name added to the FBI Security Index, The Father was sent to Bellevue Hospital for psychiatric treatment, sentenced to Mattewan State Hospital for the Criminally Insane and assassinated not long after being released and effectively politicizing our National Agenda and Cultural Worldview… Many Caucasians clearly got the Memo because some years later Scientologists, Satanists and Wiccans sought legal protection under the First Amendment by establishing “Churches”; Church of Scientology, Church of Satan and various Wiccan Churches. You even had White Supremacist Groups establishing Churches to get this protection such as The Creativity Movement (formally known as The World Church of the Creator). So ask yourself the question, “Where does this still leave those who don’t claim a ‘Religion’ but a Cultural Worldview and Nationality?”

On December 31, 2011, President Barack Obama signed into Law HR Bill 1540. While this massive 900 plus page document covers the ins and outs of National Defense, the most controversial part of this Bill is the Counterrorism Section (Subtitle D). It allows arbitrary and indefinite detainment of those who’re classified as Domestic/Foreign Terrorist Suspects, yes “Suspects” as in, “we think you’re saying/doing something”. This Bill also specifies that the US is engaged in armed conflict with not only Al-Qaeda and the Taliban b.u.t. other Associated Forces that pose a threat to the US, it’s Citizens and it’s Allied Forces (Coalition Partners). Also, these “forces” the US are in conlfict with are defined as any ‘belligerent’ Nations, Organizations or Persons engaged in ‘hostilities’ against the US, it’s Citizens and it’s Allied Forces (Coalition Partners). The problem with such language is that it’s very broad. Anyone that’s posting ‘belligerent’ comments over Facebook, uploading what can be considered ‘hostile’ videos on Youtube, or even having loud untactful conversations around People about your Nationalistic Pride can possibly earn them free transportation to an island Prison, denied your Civil Rights and eventually brought before a Military Court to answer for your suspected sins (10/1-14). While President Obama offered his obvious reservations while signing this Bill into Law, this says nothing about the sentiments/reasoning of his Administration, Congress, the Military or the next Administration that gets into Office after his Term(s) are over… This also says nothing about the State/Local Government’s sentiments/reasoning in the Cities where we live. What this all translates into is this: Anyone who doesn’t claim a “Religion” but a Cultural Worldview and Nationality must be wiser in how/what you are openly advocating. I think many of us Black/Non-White People forget that we are historical prisoners of war. Black People in particular, many who didn’t migrate to this Country b.u.t. who’s Ancestors were brought here as Slaves, must be aware of this. In the 236 years the United States has existed, Black People were legally denied basic Human and Civil Rights to participate in this Society for 189 of those years. It wasn’t until 1965, a little over a Generation ago (47 short years) that Legislation was passed to end legal Segregation, on paper at least yet not in Principle nor in Perspective. In other words, we were and still are behind Socioeconomic, Religious, and Cultural Enemy Lines and anything we say/do has been and can be used against us in “their” Court of Law. From some of the Events that have occured in my Life as a Public Figure, I’m sure there’s a dossier in my Name and I’m also sure there’s dossiers in other People’s Names who are far less considerate of what they’re publically or privately saying/doing -whether they’re calling their antics entertainment or not. Also, with the recent Investigation into a possible 'Hate Crime' commmited against a God named 'Supreme' (Aakir Omar Ali) on January 3rd, it's important to be aware of our environment and how we may be open targets. Supreme was found face down burning alive off of Highway 64 in James City County Virginia and the only way of identifying him was via his dental records. The Police Dept. has released photos of his tattoos to generate possible leads/motives in this Case, and one of his tattoos was of our Universal Flag.

In closing, I urge all of you to be more mindful of the political shifts in this Society and what this may mean to you, your Family and your Community. Check out Political Blogs, News Coverage and even strive to attend your Local Council Meetings. Little by little, become more knowledgeable of your Local, State and National Politics. This is especially important to those who can be considered “20 miles outside”, living on the Cultural fringes of this Society (21/1-40). Since 9/11, America has become more Patriotic than it’s ever been and anything that remotely sounds like you don’t like baseball or apple pie can have People advocating for one common cause to chase you out of town like Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Some of us confuse National Pride with Cultural Menticide. Yelling to the top of our lungs about who we claim to be while unassuming People stand around trying to figure out what size target to put on our back is not a question of Pride... If you are a so-called Revolutionary, that military strategy is equivalent to standing unarmed in an open field screaming for the enemy to come and get you. As I’ve stated, Non-White People, especially Black People have been behind Enemy Lines since we’ve been in this Country. The Historically ‘belligerent’ and ‘hostile’ treatment we’ve received as Groups of People shows & proves this to be the rule, not the exception. This has been the Racial Paradigm and Power Dynamics between the Ruling Class and Underclass within this Society since its inception (3, 4/1-10). Therefore much of the Legislation, Policies being and Procedures being implemented does not consider the Underclass. A Company called Hibernia Atlantic has decided to build a $300 Million Dollar Transatlantic fiber optic cable that will give Companies a 60 millisecond ‘Inside Trader’ advantage of information being transferred overseas. Why mention this? Because Project Express will accelerate Wallstreet (and the Global Market), impact/modify the strategies of The Occupy Movement, and alter the Sociopolitical landscape on the State/Federal levels. At the beginning of 2012 many States, mostly Southern, legalized Mandatory Voter Photo ID Laws. Although it’s been reasoned that this will ensure less of a chance for Voter Fraud, which wasn’t significant enough to even propose this type of Law in the first place, this Legislation will obviously suppress the Voting capabilities of those People who either don’t have a Photo ID or find it very difficult to secure one; the Elderly, Minorities and Youth. All you need to do is check the Racial/Age Demographics in the States that were most adamant about getting this Law passed… The bottom line is when we are unaware of these Societal shifts, us, our Family and our Communities become vulnerable to the legal consequences of this ignorance. This is not a call to assimilate, hide, live in fear or be spooked out. This is a call for us to be more aware of our Status, the Politics and the Socioeconomic Climate of the Society we live in. We will be better prepared to address Legislation, Policies and Procedures being implemented that does not consider us or may even target us. Ignorance isn’t bliss, Ignorance is a risk to your life, the life of your Family and the livelihood of your Community.

Peace,
Saladin

2012 and beyond...!

Reflecting upon 2011 and looking towards the next Gregorian Calendar Year, I just wanted to take a moment to share some of my thoughts with all of you… First and foremost, I want to THANK all of you who have invested time in reading my Articles, Researching the Links/Information I share via my Facebook Page, checking out and subscribing to my Youtube Channel (A.S.I.A. TV), purchasing my Literature/Music, connecting with me and just communicating with me in whatever capacity we’re able to. It is very much appreciated!! The numerous dialogues, testimonials, letters, questions and constructive advice I receive on the daily lets me know that what I do is not in vain b.u.t. is serving my intended Purpose; encouraging positive growth & development. There are also many People I’ve had the pleasure of meeting for the first time and others I’ve had the opportunity to build/rebuild relationships from all over the World. None of us are in each others lives by chance, and I look forward to what these bonds continue to positively produce for the future. You are also all very much appreciated!! 2011 has been one of my more productive, progressive and positive Years. My Queens are doing very well, I’m very happy about our state of Health and there were many things I was able to consistently and successfully accomplish. As far as Resolutions are concerned, I don’t have any. I am a work in progress so I’m always exploring ways to improve myself so that I can be a greater Resource to others. Living a way of life that includes the phrase ‘striving for perfection’ as a part of its premise is the essence of any/all Resolutions. Therefore, I will continue being as resolute as I have been.

For those of you who’ve made Resolutions for 2012, here are some points to consider and apply that will help you achieve your Goals in this upcoming Year:

* Although it’s your Resolution not anybody else’s, your Resolution should be something that improves (progresses) you with the intent/consideration of making you a better resource to others and this World you share. Life is interdependent, we all play a role in how the World turns and there is a constant process of giving and receiving. This ensures that your Resolution is something that is sustainable because you are actively providing a service that others and the World needs. If all you’re thinking about is what you can get and not what you’re able to consistently give, what you’re getting will eventually run out; try it with your breath and see what happens.

* Make sure your Resolution is real and obtainable. It’s less likely you’re going to change EVERYTHING at once so work on what you can, alittle at a time. Also, take things one day at a time. It took awhile to create habits and it’s going to take time to change them. The smaller Goals you are able to accomplish serve as stepping stones and helps you build confidence and gain the experience to achieve larger Goals.

* Make your Goals specific. Instead of saying something like, "I’m going to read more" say something more specific like "I am going to read two Novels every Month". This is called Specificity and it not only helps you better focus on your Goals, but it encourages you to be more responsible, committed and accountable for your Goals. If you were to say, "I want to be healthier in 2012" there is no sense of ambition or plan of action to achieve that Goal. Now if you said, "I am going to only eat baked chicken once a week and go to the gym twice a week for 1 ½ hours" that has a sense of ambition and provides part of a plan of action to achieve your Goal of being healthier in 2012.

* Set a projected Time/Date for your Goals. Setting a Time/Date creates a sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability to meet your Goals. If you don’t meet your Time/Date then set another one. Without setting a Time/Date then we’re saying our Goals aren’t really a priority (important) because under these circumstances they can happen any Time and any Day. That is not resolute.

* Write down your Resolutions. I’ve known People who had challenges with organizing their day, appropriating their time and focusing on achieving their Goals. One of the solutions was writing down these Goals on index cards or signs and posting them in visible places around their home. This helped reinforce/remind them of their Goals so they don’t allow themselves to get lost in the hustle & bustle of the day.

* Only share your Resolutions with those who have shown themselves to be supportive of you fulfilling them! If they’re not there to help then they’re going to hinder.

* Look into Networking with People/Organizations that will help you fulfill your Goals. If you want to cut back on the substances you’ve been using like Drugs/Alcohol, reach out to Local/Regional/National Organizations that specifically deal with Drug and Alcohol Abuse.

* Keep a Positive Outlook! Some days it will be easy to maintain a level of positivity and other days you need ‘social equality’ (fellowship) with others -who share the same Goals and are just as resolute as you are about positivity. This means, whatever Religious, Cultural or Secular Organization you are a Member of or Affiliated with, invest the time to be there and learn as much as you can about the positive Principles/Values they’re sharing with you. This is part of your foundational Network and will help you maintain a Positive Outlook when you need the support, which we all do.

* Your Resolution is not the end all be all. Some People live to have a Wedding while others strive to be Married have a Family and etc.. While the former is a Place, the later is a State. So although your Resolutions may help you arrive at a place, the ultimate Goal should be to achieve a State of Existence. And this State of Existence should set the stage to make other Resolutions to achieve even higher/greater Goals! It’s all about constant growth and elevation, not stagnation. Life is constantly changing & evolving and so should the living.

In closing, I want to wish every one of you and your Families a very safe, happy, healthy and productive 2012!! I also will that while reflecting on this past Year, we consider those negative things we've held fast to that has not only destroyed our ability to unify with others, b.u.t. has undermined our ability to accomplish anything significant on our own. If we think/know we have offended, wronged or hurt somebody then take advantage of this moment in time to apologize. If you think/know you've been offended, wronged or hurt by somebody then take advantage of this moment in time to forgive. Begin your New Year with the right mindset, on the right foot while making the right decision to move forward. We’ve all had challenges within ourselves and with others this past Year and I will that 2012 is much more positive and progressive for us all!

Peace,
Saladin

The Black Church

When it comes to GOD, my Cultural Worldview is what I choose to subscribe to. As a Person who is a part of a Group of People who subscribe to this Perspective, we are not in the business of converting, convincing, or coercing People to cee things our way. We are not Religious nor are we Missionaries. We are Civilized People who encourage eachother and others to be studious, discover answers for themselves and take nothing on face value -including what we share and know to be an actual fact. We respect and teach tolerance for other People’s Religious/Cultural Worldviews and we won’t allow/accept other People using their Religious/Cultural Worldviews to disrespect or be intolerant of us. This, of course, is the more “mature” way in which our Culture is expressed when we’re dealing with People who have different Religious/Cultural Worldviews. Keep in Mind that this “mature” expression of our Culture IS NOT a reflection of everyone who considers themselves a part of our Group (The NGE). While some People are growing/developing at their own rate there are others who aren’t and have no intention to grow or develop. I’m sure anyone can understand and appreciate this; ceeing that these same immature elements also exist in their own Religious/Cultural Community.

When I was young, unsure, and still striving to solidify my Cultural Worldview, I did quite a bit of debating and challenging others Religious/Cultural Worldviews. It was an exercise of Egocentricity and not much came out of those encounters. These weren’t “dialogues” or “intellectual discourses” between People sharing Perspectives to learn from one another. These were battles to prove who’s right, who’s wrong and to show who had superior Knowledge; immature behavior you expect to cee from children, NOT Adults… -smh- Even to this day, People still strive to bait me into one these “Us vs Them”, “Me vs You” Jousting Matches, b.u.t. I’m much wiser about involving myself in these Games nowaday. While speaking on the subject of Jousting, one of the biggest targets I’m ceeing within the so-called Conscious Community continues to be The Black Church and Christianity as a whole. I definitely understand and can appreciate the "Theological" concerns many People -particulary Black/Non-White People- have about Christianity, b.u.t. the outright disrespect for The Black Church itself, and someone's Belief System, I do not support or agree with. This is why…

Historically speaking, The Black Church has been and continues to be “The First”, “The Oldest” and one of the only Black Institutions Black People still have here in America. During the Reconstruction Period in this Country AFTER Black People were legally freed from Slavery, The Black Church served as a Socioeconomic ‘Sawmill’ that helped us establish, build, and rebuild our Communities. One such example of this rebuilding process was the central role the Mt. Zion Baptist Church played after the May 31st, 1921 Tulsa Race Riot burnt our Historic Black Wallstreet down to the ground. Even though this newly erected Institution was completed only a year earlier, after being destroyed by Whites during the Riot, the Congregation came together to rebuild it from the smoldering ashes it was left in. The Black Church was central to all of our people activities and reinforced our Ethics, Principles/Values, Social Norms/Mores, and Codes of Conduct. When Segregation was imposed upon us as a People, it was through The Black Church that we established a Support System/Network to produce Cultural Think Tanks, Educational Institutions, Businesses, Sports/Entertainment, Social Organizations, Social Clubs, Civil Rights Groups, and etc.. These Socioeconomic Entities did more than help us survive, they helped us THRIVE as a Group of People! When it comes to Social Norms/Mores, many of us wouldn’t even know what ‘Courting’ is/was if it wasn’t for our Church-going Elders down South! It was through the Black Church that we first learned forms of social responsibility/etiquette: like tending to the needs of the most vulnerable among us (our children, the mentally/physically disabled and our elders). In the Black Church we learned the importance of fairness, collective work and responsibility, respect for Family, chastity, and simply looking out for one another as a People. During these perilous times when America legally relegated our People to Second Class Citizenship and the Klu Klux Klan's Membership hovered around 3 million, it was The Black Church that became the Proverbial “Village” it took to protect and raise (grow & develop) the children who birthed the future generations of our People who are here today! It’s a huge oversight for any of our People to minimize, criticize, or satirize this long-standing Legacy of our People and the undeniable contributions The Black Church has made to produce many of the privileges we enjoy today. ANY PROGRESS (Morally/Ethically, Entrepreneurism, Community Activism and etc..) that we’ve ever made as a Group of People in America either directly involves or has some indirect association with The Black Church. There is no way to get around this fact.

The biggest issue we cee with The Black Church today is, generally speaking and with some exceptions, it no longer functions as the Socioeconomic nucleus of the Black Community. When "legal" Segregation ended in the 1965, many Black People started to “believe” we had all of these options and began to Integrate into a Society that never wanted us to be a part of it, by Law, for the last 189 years. Integration meant the Disintegration of many of our Black Think Tanks, Educational Institutions, Businesses, Sports/Entertainment, Social Organizations, Social Clubs, Civil Rights Groups and ultimately the Socioeconomic Influence/Integrity of The Black Church. Today, in 2011, when we’re looking at the variety of Black Churches around this Country, whether storefronts or mega churches, we’re looking at shadows of it’s former self... In my estimation, the dissatisfaction that alot of my People have with The Black Church today is a form of ‘Transference’ that’s often expressed as a Theological issue. The true source of much of our dissatisfaction is the lack of love, respect, comradery, and support we have for eachother today. So beneath the dissatisfaction, there's a general sense of disappointment, sadness, and even depression because we’re missing eachother and the sense of Community we once shared as a Group of People; a sense of Community that once revolved around The Black Church. Is this entirely the fault of The Black Church? I hardly believe that! As a matter of fact, there’s a reason many People in Church, especially our Elders who remember the times when we depended on eachother, say, “Sweety when you coming back to Church?” If you take the opportunity to actually listen to them, and their experiences, I’m sure you’ll find out that it's not a "Theological" request… It’s much more than that.

In conclusion, THIS IS NOT an Article about encouraging our People who no longer go to Church to go back to Church. This is an Article to address the ignorance and oftentimes blatant disrespect I cee that many of my People have for our own Legacy! Recognizing the Legacy and Socioeconomic Function of The Black Church in America is a very important part of our past, present and future. Because many of The Black Churches today, no longer function as the nucleus of our Community, many People have lost their faith and support in this Institution. Many Black Churches often reinforce these sentiments because instead of functioning as the great luminary that was once central to our Community, they promote elitism, materialism, individuality, and separatism from anyone who doesn’t believe as they do. Since my Ole Dad is friends with many Pastors/Deacons from different Churches within my City, at one point he approached them with the idea of them all utilizing the same Banking Institution to centralize/maximize our Economic strength as a People. Through this simple move, he said we could demand better Mortgage Rates, Business Loans, and etc… to help support our Interests and Building of our own Communities. This was many years ago and still hasn’t happened.

This Article is about the importance of building bridges, working together as a People, and advocating for the same common cause; Socioeconomic Empowerment. Although we all may not share the same Theological Views, one thing we have in common is our Legacy as a People. Just because I'm not at a Church, Mosque, Synagogue, or etc… every Week DOES NOT MEAN that I’m totally against the Religious/Cultural Worldview some of my People subscribe to. I’m actually for the best of whatever these Religious/Cultural Worldviews have to offer in regards to empowering us as a People. When it comes to the Religion of Christianity, some not all, of it’s core Teachings/Customs are derived from our Classical Civilizations -particularly Hebrew Culture. Many of our People have a misconception that Christianity was beat into "ALL" of our People as slaves and that's historically untrue! While some were definitely coerced/forced to accept a Christian Theology, many of our People were wise enough to recognize that many of Christianity’s core Teachings/Customs derived from our Classical Civilizations, and they openly embraced it. One such Man was Henry Highland Garnet; a 27 year old Presbyterian Pastor who delivered a fiery 1843 Speech Calling for a Slave Rebellion. Another such Christian Man was my Great-Great-Great Grandfather, a Minister, Josiah Henson; who escaped Slavery by taking his Family along the Underground Railroad up into Dresden Ontario Canada. In Dresden, Rev. Josiah Henson went on to survey and negotiate for the land to help found an entire Community, teach Financial Literacy, the Bible and establish a Educational/Vocational School called The British-American Institute. Here’s his Self Written Biography. Another unsung Hero amongst the many Men and Women who came out of the Church to fight for the rights of our People was Dr. Vernon Johns; Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's Predecessor, Civil Right Leader and Brainchild of the Bus Boycott.

I, like any Civilized Person, am against the slandering, petty debating, and mud slinging antics I cee many of my People engaging in because of our various Perspectives of GOD -especially Adults who consider themselves Conscious who should know a lot better than that! Instead of actually Building (relationships) many of us are more interested in and even take pride in Destroying (relationships) by making mockery of someone else’s Religious/Cultural Worldviews. There is nothing Righteous, Glorious, or Supreme about that; it’s actually uncivil and oftentimes barbaric! The bottom line to all of this is that we need eachother, always have and always will. We need eachother today, just like we needed eachother yesterday, and WE CANNOT ALLOW petty differences to keep getting in the way and stopping us from serving eachother’s needs; our survival and prosperity depends upon it. Regardless what Perspective we have of GOD (Divinity), it means nothing if we lack the will/ability to share that Perspective of GOD (Divinity) through how we treat one another. So I encourage all of us to refrain from all of this American Gladiator Mentality and begin thinking about ways we can work together to help bring an end to the crime, alcohol/drug addiction, amorality, homelessness, hunger, mis-education, poverty, family dysfunction, juvenile delinquency, and etc.. that continues to plague our Communities REGARDLESS what Perspective of GOD we have! It wasn’t The Black Church that put us in this condition, b.u.t. it’s the sense of Unity/Community, which The Black Church successfully demonstrated, that kept many of us out of that condition.

Peace,
Saladin
